What Kent Island does to a window
Kent Island has more glass facing open water than anywhere else on our Annapolis routes. Bay City, Kentmorr, Romancoke and the west shore in Stevensville look straight across the Bay at the bridge, and a west or northwest wind dries a brackish film on the water side of the house within days of a cleaning. On the Chester side, Queens Landing, Gibson's Grant, Bayside and Castle Marina take the same haze off the Chester River and Kent Narrows, and a nor'easter pushes the tide over the low streets and leaves a salt line on the lower panes.
The island is flat and windy, and that matters in winter. Route 50 and Route 8 are brined before every storm, and the wind carries the spray off the highway farther than it does on the mainland, so the lower glass on houses near the road wears a white crust by February. Spring brings the pollen off the loblolly pines and oaks over Cloverfields, Kent Island Estates and Love Point, and the humid summer grows mildew on the shaded side of the house and on the screens in the Four Seasons and Bayside townhomes.

Inland homes in Cloverfields, Kent Island Estates and Four Seasons do well quarterly, with the spring visit timed to the end of pollen season and the inside glass done once a year either way.

Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
